Lead QA Engineer
We are currently looking for an intelligent, independent, talented, and experienced QA Lead Engineer.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Create test plans, test cases, and participate in user acceptance testing to insure the highest quality products are released to production.
- Work closely with business users and the project team to analyze business requirements in order to create project test scenarios.
- Participate in business requirements gathering and other documentation reviews to extract test scenarios.
- Coordinate with the project and development teams to drive product quality.
- Resource planning and allocation for QA related activities.
- MUST HAVE EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Software Quality.
- 2+ years experience in a Lead role in software quality assurance.
- Outstanding problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to write SQL queries beyond just select statements.
- Good understanding of web specifics such as JavaScript, browser specific behavior, HTTP basics, CSS, URL parsing, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices for the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience with stress testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter.
- BS/BA in Computer Science or related.
- Knowledge of some source control like CVS.
