They fall into three general categories: Sponsorship and Advertising Partners Health Services Partners Technology Partners Sponsorship and Advertising Partners Why We Work With Sponsors: They provide us with revenue that enables us to continue to run our business and provide you with our services. They provide products and services that may prove useful or beneficial to you. The implementation of sponsorship on Medem-powered Web sites is done in accordance with the Advertising and Sponsorship guidelines of the American Medical Association. We provide statistical data to such partners that describe how our content and services are being used. This data will never include any personal identifying information. Instead, we will provide only de-identified, aggregated statistical data to these partners. Health Services Partners Our health services partners comprise all medical practices and physicians who publish a Web site, i.e., Members of the Medem Network. Technology Partners Generally speaking, we do not provide personally identifying information or statistical data to our technology partners. However, it is sometimes necessary to grant the employees, or subcontractors of our technology partners, access to information that travels on the Medem network or resides in Medem databases. Such access is granted only for purposes of technical site management. All technical partner organizations are bound by mutual non-disclosure agreements with Medem, Inc. In some cases we have also negotiated special contract provisions to govern the activities of a partner when those activities relate to collection or processing of information.
